Split Rack Ribs is family owned and operated since 2024. Our pit master is John Nordberg who has dreamed of opening a BBQ business for decades. The Nordberg family has been taking a trip up the North Shore of Minnesota for over 4 decades. As you drive up the North Shore you pass a famous light house called Split Rock Lighthouse. During one of those trips John joked that you could name a BBQ company after the lighthouse by naming it Split Rack Ribs. Decades later we made that become a reality.
